Chan Yong “Jake” Jeong, Esq.
Mr. Jeong is the managing partner of Jeong & Likens, one of the busiest copyright law firms in the country. His cases are often covered by various media such as Law 360, Lexis Legal News, Daily Mail, etc.
Mr. Jeong specializes in business litigation and provides legal services to business entities regarding issues such as copyright, trademark, corporate governance, investment, commercial transaction, real estate transaction, employment, construction, and appeal in front of the 9th Circuit Appellate Court of the U.S. and the 2nd District Appellate Court of State of California.
Mr. Jeong has served as legal adviser for major business associations including Korean Federation of Small and Medium Businesses, Korean Apparel Manufacturers Association, and Korean Real Estate Brokers Association, working directly with their members to overcome challenging legal obstacles.
Mr. Jeong is currently serving as the President of Korean Community Lawyers Association, dedicated to serving the community members and improving the legal services by organizing jury trial seminars, visiting district courts and the Supreme Court in Korea with state court judges, monthly free legal clinics and free legal seminars.
He is often quoted by local media and is also invited as a speaker at numerous legal seminars held by Seoul Bar Association, Pusan Bar Association, Korea Daily, Korean American Restaurants Association, etc.
Mr. Jeong obtained his Juris Doctorate at Loyola Law School with a focus on business litigation. While in law school, he worked as a Senior Articles Editor for Loyola International and Comparative Law Review. Mr. Jeong published an article titled "A Comparative Analysis of the Anti-trust Laws of the U.S. and the EU involving Automotive Industries”, which received an offer for publication in “BYU International Law and Management Review” as a finalist in a national writing competition held by the Foundation for International Law and Management, Brigham Young University Law School.
Before law school, Mr. Jeong worked as an international legal manager for Division for International Business Operation of Hyundai Motor Company. He managed various M&A projects and joint venture projects in Australia, Germany, France, U.K., Italy, Spain, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, etc. He also negotiated contracts involving exportation, after-sales service, technical license, and trademark.

J. David Likens, Esq.
Mr. Likens spent the beginning of his law career practicing in the area of criminal defense, including a clerkship at the Los Angeles Public Defenders office. The majority of his legal career, however, has been spent providing legal consultation to various segments of the behavioral health industry. He has served as counsel for numerous addiction treatment organizations, non-profit organizations, marketing firms, and e-commerce businesses. He has also served as an expert witness in both civil and criminal cases on the issues of addiction and healthcare administration.
Mr. Likens has over 20 years of leadership experience in both the non-profit and for-profit segments of the addiction treatment industry. He has served as the Chief Executive Officer of ABC Recovery Center, Ascension Treatment Centers, and the Ranch at Dove Tree. He has also served as Development Director, Program Director, and Project Manager for Inland Valley Recovery Services and in various roles at several facilities across Southern California.
Mr. Likens graduated from Southwestern Law School with a Juris Doctorate degree from the prestigious SCALE program. He also received a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Management from University of La Verne, graduating Summa Cum Laude. He additionally obtained Associate degrees in both Liberal Studies and Addiction Studies from Mt. San Antonio College, both with high honors.
David has also appeared on or given interviews for many major networks including A & E, CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX and Telemundo and has lectured or held adjunct faculty positions at several colleges and universities, including Mt. San Antonio College, where he is currently on the faculty.

Nathan Goh, Esq.
Nathan completed his Juris Doctorate at The George Washington University School of Law. During law school, Nathan was a Graduate Associate for The Walt Disney Company and a Law Clerk for the McArthur Law Firm and Mental Health Advocacy Services. Nathan was also a Staff Editor for the American Intellectual Property Law Association's Quarterly Journal and received the American Bar Association/Bureau of National Affairs Award for excellence in intellectual property law.
